Zanzibar International Film Festival (ZIFF)High Definition (HD) Camera Workshop

This year, after many requests, ZIFF has been able to secure the services of Barry Braverman, Author, Cinematographer and HD Video Producer to a 5-day workshop during ZIFF 2011 (18-26 June 2011).

The workshop will take camera operators through HD Camera technology and operation including practical exercises for complex High Definition camera operations including safety measures.

The maximum number of students enrolled is 10.
Enrolment is on first-come-first-served payment basis.
The course fee is Tshs.100,000/-

BARRY BRAVERMAN BIO Barry Braverman is a veteran cinematographer with over thirty years experience in television documentaries and feature films. Notable credits include National Geographic, ABC News, HBO, and The Discovery Channel. Recent titles include THE DARJEELING LIMITED BEHIND THE SCENES (2009) and THE MAKING OF BOTTLE ROCKET (2008)) in addition to music videos for TANGERINE DREAM, STEVIE WONDER and YANNI.

A member of Hollywood cinematographer’s guild, Braverman is currently conducting a series of master workshops throughout the Asia and the Middle East. His latest book VIDEO SHOOTER 2nd Edition (2009) from Focal Press explores the art and craft of video storytelling with latest-generation HD cameras.
